  6. A four-year undergraduate program. Upon admission to the faculty, Kyoto iUP, students will become regular Kyoto University undergraduate degree seeking students. In the first two years of the program, they will study liberal arts courses in English and/or Japanese together with Japanese undergraduate students.

  7. Kyoto iUP is a 4.5-year program, comprised of a six-month preparatory course, followed by four years of undergraduate studies. Japanese language proficiency is not required at the outset. Students will study for degrees in their chosen fields while developing a deep understanding of Japanese language, culture, and customs.
