Nov 1, 2019 · I have read this short story and I enjoyed. The Robbers by Anton Chekhov. One of my favorite stories was the story: Overseasoned that of course, includes misunderstanding in it. I’d say this is the best story of the whole book. Gleb Stirnov arrived in a station and had to go somewhere.

Ergunov, a doctor's assistant, gets lost in a snowstorm on his way back from Repin village and takes shelter at Andrew Chirikov's inn, where he meets the notorious horse thief Kalashnikov and Merik. 2. At the inn, Merik threatens to kill Liubka's mother and cut Liubka's throat, which frightens Ergunov.
