The following scholarships are available for those wishing to study at Kyoto University. It should be noted, however, the selection processes for the scholarships are very competitive, and in most cases applications are only accepted after the entrance to Kyoto University.
AFLSP@KU provides a two-year, Japan highest-class scholarship (Year 2024: approx. 2x0,000 Yen/Month + Admission fee + Tuition fee Program. The amount varies depending on the exchange rate.) with a professional enrichment program.
In order to receive a monthly scholarship, students need to sign the International Students Enrollment Ledger at the designated university offices (see below) once a month during the periods specified.
Various kinds of scholarships are offered by private scholarship foundations every year, and many of them require high command of Japanese as well as outstanding academic result from applicants.
